Abstract
The traditional iron furnace was built and used by people from the southern province, primarily Tonga people. Charcoal is piled in the top of the furnace with the iron ore inside. The molten iron will be tapped out of the holes at the botton. Long poles support the furnace so that it will not collapse when it is hot. |
