Abstract This paper examines the Nigerian copyright law as it affects the open access to knowledge initiative. The researcher analyzed the success of open access to information and knowledge in Asian countries, particularly India, and considered the adoption of same in Nigeria. The paper suggests guidelines to compacting the copyright law and open access initiative towards achieving information for all and enhancing national development of Nigeria. | ||
