Abstract
The teaching of science is even more challenging, in a developing country such as the Sudan, than in an industrialized country such as Canada. This article outlines the context in the Sudan as of 2005, the science curriculum in the Sudan, the barriers to science education, and possible ways of moving forward. - This paper was submitted to SCI 398Y (Science Education) in 2004-2005, and it is sponsored by the Science Education Program (Director: Professor John R. Percy). - The Science Education Program at UTM. |
