Abstract
This paper recognises media as means of communication that have been found relevant and effective in national development. In particular, the paper considers Television, Newspapers, Radio, Billboards, Music, Theatre and Posters in the context of their roles in accelerating wholistic national development. In the final analysis, the paper posits the shortcomings and strengths of the media in achieving the national objectives economically, socially, politically, educationally and culturally. |
