Abstract
From all indications, the Nigerian prison system, as at present,is not geared towards the reformation of prisoners to enable them live a more useful life and thereby help contribute effectively to the overall development of the country. Instead, our prison system appears punitive and retributive, and therefore, is not in a position to help reform prisoners. |
