Abstract Esta tese pretende investigar se e como a narrativa guineense deixou e ainda deixa transparecer uma preocupação que transcende a forma estética e se volta à problemática da construção nacional e identitária. A partir dos estudos culturais e pós-coloniais, que proporcionam um diálogo entre distintas posições teóricas e críticas, além da inequívoca inter-relação entre literatura e língua(s), o presente trabalho pretende entrecruzar o discurso ficcional àquele histórico, cultural, político numa perspectiva transdisciplinar. A base teórica na qual se ampara este estudo tem em Homi K. Bhabha, Stuart Hall, Edward Said, Mikhail Bakhtin, Linda Hutcheon e Walter Mignolo alguns de seus principais pensadores. Para tanto, o corpus deste estudo restringe-se à prosa ficcional de publicação individual, por sua vez circunscrita a obras que proporcionam uma visão panorâmica das temáticas e soluções estéticas encontradas e recorrentes desde 1993 até 2016. A trilogia Mistida, do escritor Abdulai Sila- composta por Eterna Paixão (1994), A Última Tragédia (1995) e Mistida (1997)-, Tiara (1999), de Filomena Embaló, Kikia Matcho: O desalento do combatente (1999), de Filinto de Barros, Adormecer de um sonho (2010), de Carlos-Edmilson M. Vieira e Memórias SOMânticas (2016), de Abdulai Sila são os romances selecionados. Já a produção contística de que se pretende dar conta engloba A Escola (1993), de Domingas Samy, Sonéá: histórias e passadas que ouvi contar I (2000) e Djênia: histórias e passadas que ouvi contar II (2000), de Odete Semedo, Contos de n'nori (2005), de Carlos-Edmilson M. Vieira e Fogo Fácil (2006), de Marinho de Pina. O que se percebe é que, no mundo ficcional da narrativa literária guineense, a consciência da própria posição fronteiriça é pensada a partir de frequentes diálogos com acontecimentos e personagens históricos, da encenação da oralidade, assim como das escolhas linguísticas dos escritores. - This thesis aims to investigate how the Guinea-Bissauan narrative left and still shows a concern that transcends aesthetic form and turns to the problem of national construction and identity. Starting from cultural and postcolonial studies, which provide a dialogue between different theoretical and critical positions, besides the unequivocal interrelation between literature and language(s), the present work aims to cross-reference fictional discourse with that historical, cultural and political in a trans-disciplinary perspective. The theoretical basis on which this study is supported has in Homi K. Bhabha, Stuart Hall, Edward Said, Mikhail Bakhtin, Linda Hutcheon and Walter Mignolo some of their main thinkers. To this end, the corpus of this study is restricted to the fictional prose of individual publication, which in turn is limited to works that provide an overview of the themes and aesthetics solutions found and recurrent from 1993 to 2016. The trilogy Mistida, by the writer Abdulai Sila - composed of Eterna Paixão (1994), A Última Tragédia (1995) e Mistida (1997)-, Tiara (1999), by Filomena Embaló, Kikia Matcho: O desalento do combatente (1999), by Filinto de Barros, Adormecer de um sonho (2010), by Carlos-Edmilson M. Vieira and Memórias SOMânticas (2016), by Abdulai Sila are the selected novels. The production of stories of which it is intended to account encompasses A Escola (1993), by Domingas Samy, Sonéá: histórias e passadas que ouvi contar I (2000) and Djênia: histórias e passadas que ouvi contar II (2000), by Odete Semedo, Contos de n'nori (2005), by Carlos-Edmilson M. Vieira and Fogo Fácil (2006), by Marinho de Pina. What can be noticed, in the fictional world of Guinea-Bissauan literary narrative, is that the awareness of one's own frontier position is thought from frequent dialogues with historical events and characters, from the staging of orality, as well as from the linguistic choices of the writers.
