Abstract
Journal Article - Globally, the health of women in the reproductive age group has engaged the attention of all govern-ments especially in the developing countries where maternal mortality ratios range from 200 to 800 deaths per 100,000 live births. Though women in the reproductive age group form about 22% of the population in most developing countries, they carry the burden of pregnancy, childbirth and child care and therefore form a special vulnerable group |
